The “Indian Transplant Newsletter” has added a “Journal Watch” section with this issue and this will become a regular feature of the Newsletter. This section will have summaries of important transplant related articles from leading journals of the world. An exhaustive search of the Journals last year yielded a rich haul of articles and some of these have been included in this section of the current issue. Obviously due to space constraints not all-important articles can be included. The criteria for selection have mainly been articles that can help the nascent Indian Cadaver Programme and some that can inspire the Indian Transplant Community. The selection also has been such as to give emphasis to all organs and just not Kidneys. If the readers wish to contribute summaries of articles for future issues they can do so, however these should be kept brief with a maximum count of 300 words.
