One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme held in Jaipur

Navjeevan – MFJCF (MOHAN Foundation-Jaipur Citizen Forum)
Team conducted a one week Transplant Coordinators’ Training
Programme at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, Jaipur,
Rajasthan from 21st to 25th January, 2019. The training was
conducted under the aegis of NOTTO. This is the fourth such training
programme conducted by Navjeevan-MFJCF in Jaipur. The training
was inaugurated by Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman (MFJCF), Dr.Sudhir
Bhandari, Principal, SMS Medical College & Hospital. Dr. DS Meena,
Medical Superintendent, SMS Hospital, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Medical
Superintendent, JK Lon Hospital were also present during the
inauguration. The event was graced by Mr. Rakesh Jain who donated
his son Mr. Manan Jain’s organs and tissues in 2017. MFJCF was
applauded by Dr. Sudhir Bhandari for its exemplary work towards
creating awareness in the rural parts of Rajasthan and conducting
training programmes for doctors and other health care professionals.
At the valedictory function, Mr. Rohit Kumar Singh, Additional Chief
Secretary, Government of Rajasthan was the chief guest. Dr. Vasanthi
Ramesh, Director NOTTO, Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, Principal, SMS
Medical College & Hospital and Dr. Manish Sharma, Nodal Officer,
Rajasthan Network for Organ Sharing (RNOS) were the special guests.
Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani, Convenor, Navjeevan-MFJCF congratulated
the participants on completing the training.
