National Data - Deceased Organ Donation and Transplantation
In the last five years, the country has seen a four-fold increase in the number of deceased organ donors as well as the number of solid organs retrieved from those donors for transplantation.
The organ donation rate has gone up from 0.16 per million population in 2012 to 0.8 per million population in 2016
