Painting Competition on Organ Donation – Picture Perfect

MOHAN Foundation pioneered initiatives to engage young people with the concept of organ donation.

A picture is worth a thousand words – this was brought home beautifully by a group of young heart and minds working harmoniously with their hands to create, what else but the perfect pictures of why and how one can become an organ donor...The painting competition was preceded by a brief talk to familiarize the children with the concept of organ donation. Most of them were familiar with blood donation and eye donation. What was remarkable was the open-mindedness and eagerness that these children showed to learn more about something that could affect their lives. Even more remarkable was the clarity with which they these expressed those thoughts on paper...”
