A unique State Organ Donation Workshop was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 14th May 2014. This was a joint initiative of the Government of Rajasthan and MOHAN Foundation-Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF). The venue was the prestigious SMS Medical College’s Library seminar Hall.

The workshop started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. Mr. Rajendra Singh Rathore, Honourable Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, Mr. Deepak Upreti, IAS, Principal Secretary, Medical Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Subhash Nepalia, Principal, SMS Medical College & Hospital, Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, Jaipur Citizen Forum, and Dr. Sunil Shroff, Managing Trustee, MOHAN Foundation were present.

Mr. Rathore, in his speech, praised the work taken up by MFJCF and promised the organ donation programme full support of the government. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MOHAN Foundation and Jaipur Citizen Forum was signed in front of the dignitaries and the audience.
