A small town, Sidhpur, on the banks of the Saraswathi boasts of a doctor who has dedicated his life to a cause that is extremely dear to his heart - eye donation. He does this in his own unique manner. He embarked on this journey when he lost his 27-year-old son in an accident. In spite of the tragic circumstances, he donated his son’s eyes.

The setting that the doctor has chosen is a particularly daunting one- the cremation ground. With only his motivation as a driving force, the doctor requests families to consider donating their loved one’s eyes one last time, before they consign the body to the flames. In spite of more than half the families refusing the request, so far, three thousand pairs of eyes have been donated to the Indian Red Cross society at Dholka. From there, the eyes are sent to various eye banks. And so, the doctor carries on with his mission, battling superstition and ignorance.
