Abhilasha Rahurikar, 16 months old, became the country’s youngest cadaver organ donor. Dr. Anupam Sibal, group medical director, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi said that Abhilasha’s family took the decision to donate her organs when she was declared brain dead.  Their noble gesture has gone a long way in creating awareness about organ donation.
