Rapemune Available in tablet form

 Rapemune (Sirolimus), an Immunosuppressant from Wyeth-Ayerst laboratories, was approved for use in the US in September 1999 for kidney transplant patients.  The company has now announced that the first solid formulation of this immunosuppressant is available. According to them, the mew 1mg tablet provides easier administration and storage than Rapemune oral solution.
