A landmark judgement passed

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ruled that a person with one kidney should be considered physically handicapped for the benefit of job reservation .A division bench allowed the plea of Chander Bhan who has only one kidney and had applied to the O.T. Sanskrit course of the Haryana government under the category of the physically handicapped. He said that he had been refused admission on the ground that a person with one kidney could not be considered as a physically handicapped.
