MOHAN Foundation helped the deceased organ donation programme in Andhra Pradesh achieve a milestone in the first week of November 2010.  Venkatesam, a businessman, who was declared brain dead became the 100^th organ donor in the state facilitated by MOHAN Foundation since 2002. The grief counsellors of MOHAN Foundation motivated his relatives to donate the organs and give a fresh lease of life to others. Shortly thereafter, the family of a young engineering student, Ratnakar, donated his organs after he became brain dead following an accident. Mr. K. Raghuram, CEO of MOHAN Foundation, said that so far a total of 101 organ donations have been completed in Andhra Pradesh by the foundation.
