Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme at Chandigarh

Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme was conducted at Command Hospital, Chandimandir (Chandigarh) from 1st to 5th September 2014. There were a total of 18 participants including Medical Officers and Nursing officers from various Army Hospitals of Western Command, and participants from Patel Hospital, Jalandhar, PGIMER Chandigarh and MOHAN Foundation.

The training programme was the result of great initiative on the part of Col. A.K. Sharma, Sr. Surgeon (G.I. Surgery and Liver Transplant) and the whole-hearted support that he got from Maj.Gen. Atul Sharma, M.G.(Med), Maj. Gen. Rajvir, Commandant and Brig. Srinath, (Urologist) H.O.D. Surgery and Mr. Sudhir Dewan, Director-North, MOHAN Foundation.
